Each handle comes pre-engraved with the Pullman Tamper logo so you know you've got a genuine Pullman Tamper. However if you want a tamper that's just a bit more personal, why not add your own special message or artwork? A birthday message for a coffee lover; your company slogan or website address; an 'Awarded To' message for a prize. The options are limited only by your imagination!
Your message can be up to 70 characters long but we recommend you keep your message as brief as possible; for example, "Dear John, Happy 50th Birthday. Love Mary" would be ideal.
Important notes:
1) The engraving process uses a computer-controlled laser to burn your text a few millimetres deep into the wood (or through the anodized surface on aluminium Barista handles). Some woods burn darker than others, so make sure you check out the examples in the engraving gallery to see how engraving looks on the different handles, or e-mail me if you're unsure how your engraving will look.
2) The extra work involved to customise your handle may result in an additional delay of up to 5 working days.
Engraving can be performed in whatever font or style you want, however we find complicated or particularly decorative fonts can sometimes be hard to read so we recommend any of those shown below. You may choose an alternative font, but you may be required to supply us with the .ttf font file if it is not a standard Windows font.
Note that if you want anything other than text engraved (such as artwork, e.g. a logo), you must purchase Custom Engraving - Logo.
