The Pullman Deluxe tamper is a gorgeous amalgamation of precision-machined steel and hand-turned boutique hardwood handles.
Jarrah is the most popular style we sell. Most widely grown in Western Australia, it's a wood that is very popular for home furniture and floor boards. It's also the most common material used for garden stakes, so it's capable of withstanding a lot of punishment!
Compared to Red Gum, colours do vary but it is typically more of a dark brown than a reddish pink. It also has a straighter grain very similar to Australian Oak, giving it a distinctive flecked appearance on 'along the grain' portions such as the handle shaft.

Note:
- Tamper handles and tamper bases are sold separately. While they can be purchased separately if necessary, you require both a base and a handle for a complete tamper.
- Bases and handles from the Deluxe and Barista range are not interchangeable. If you are purchasing a Deluxe handle you must also purchase a Deluxe base for a complete Deluxe tamper. See the range of Deluxe bases available for purchase.
