Each handle comes pre-engraved with the Pullman Tamper logo so you know you've got a genuine Pullman Tamper. However if you want a tamper that's just a bit more personal, why not add your own special message or artwork? A birthday message for a coffee lover; your company logo, slogan or website address; an 'Awarded To' message for a prize. The options are limited only by your imagination!

Your message can be up to 100 characters long in whatever font or style you want, but I recommend you keep your message as brief as possible and in a simple font to ensure readable text, for example, "Dear John, Happy 50th Birthday. Love Mary" would be ideal. You can supply the details of your engraving requirements from the order page. Contact me about custom-engraving if you need further information.

Alternatively, your artwork can be emailed to me and then engraved onto the handle shaft opposite the Pullman logo.

Note: The engraving process uses a computer-controlled laser to burn your text a few millimetres deep into the wood. Some woods burn darker than others, so make sure you check out the examples in the engraving gallery below to see how engraving looks on the different handles, or e-mail me if you're unsure how your engraving will look.

Please note that the extra work involved to customise your handle may result in an additional delay of up to 5 working days and incurs an extra charge - $19.95 for regular text and typically $29.95 for more complex artwork though the actual cost may depend on the complexity involved.
