Shipping
We provide a range of delivery options as offered by Australia Post. For delivery within Australia, we recommend Registered Post as this provides trackability and insurance in case of loss or damage, however Express Post is available for those who want a faster delivery and are prepared to forego insurance. For delivery outside Australia, air mail will be used, with insurance whenever the destination country offers insured delivery.
Packaging
Pullman Tampers are manufactured to extremely close tolerances and are treated with great care to ensure the tampers are as close to perfect as possible. This effort can be wasted if damage occurs to the tamper in transit.
Some tampers are supplied as loose parts in a thin single-walled box, or loose inside a mailing tube. Pullman Tampers are supplied fully assembled in triple-insulated packaging to ensure your new tamper arrives exactly as it left us. The tamper is first held in place by sturdy locaters at the top and bottom of the unit which are then surrounded by 8mm dual-wall cardboard insulators. These components combined insulate the tamper from the rest of the box and are capable of resisting over 100kg of load. This assembly then forms an interference fit within an attractive laminated e-flute presentation box in keeping with the quality of the product, which provides the final layer of protection.
